Primrose police nab 29 suspects

The Primrose police were kept busy with the arrest of 29 suspects in the area.

Primrose police had a busy week arresting 29 suspects, between July 3 and 9.

The suspects were arrested for various crimes, including possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, possession of house break-in implements, driving under the influence of alcohol, fraud, dealing in liquor without a licence and contempt of court.

The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and some of the cases were postponed.

Some of the suspects paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
