Mr ADT makes safety a priority for the children

Teachers and learners from Heavenly Flowers learn some important safety tips from Mr ADT.

Well-known Johannesburg entertainer Darrin McDowall, who is better known as Mr ADT, recently visited the children of Heavenly Flowers Primary School, in Lambton.

McDowall took the time to teach the learners and teachers about home safety in a fun and entertaining way.

The show focused on important topics including, bullying, home robberies, keeping belongings safe, being alert by paying attention to surroundings and stranger danger.

The children were also taught how important it is to know their parents’ contact details, as well as other emergency numbers such as the number for their security company and the SAPS.

“He grabbed everyone’s attention right from the start with his sense of humour and jokes.

“Even though everyone had a laugh his message about safety was clear and we thank ADT and McDowall for the show,” said Heavenly Flowers’ owner, Heidi Searle.
