Police target criminals in Primrose

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

According to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station, 28 suspects were arrested in the Primrose area between November 27 and December 3.

The accused were charged with a number of different crimes.

Charges included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, statutory rape, malicious damage to property, hijacking, house break-in and theft, theft, cultivating dagga, warrant of arrest and contempt of court.

The Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successful arrests.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
