A warning for the community

Police warn community not to fight back when under siege.

The Primrose SAPS are warning the community not to fight back when under siege.

Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police, said: “The Primrose police are appealing to the community to not fight back when they are attacked or held up by criminals, as this could have fatal results.

“Do not try to be the hero; rather obey the attacker’s instruction, rather just surrender your belongings, as your life is far more important.

“These criminals do not care; they will kill a person for something as simple as a ring.”
