According to the latest arrest statistics released by the Germiston Police Station, 89 suspects were arrested between July 22 and 30.

The accused were arrested for various offences, including:
Possession of dagga: 14
Driving under the influence of alcohol: 15
Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 8
Intimidation: 2
Theft: 4
Shoplifting: 12
Armed robbery: 1
Contempt of court: 1
Common robbery: 3
Dealing in drugs: 2
Kidnapping: 3
Sexual assault: 1
Common assault: 10
Possession of drugs: 6
Fraud: 3
Business robbery: 3
Dealing in liquor without a licence: 1

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
