School of Achievement presents… Jo black
The School of Achievement depends on fund-raising to maintain the quality of education we provide.

The School of Achievement depends on fund-raising to maintain the quality of education we provide. We do receive a subsidy from the Department of Education but, in these tough economic times, funds are limited. As our main fund-raising drive for the year, we are thrilled to announce that we have secured a booking with Jo Black to perform a concert, with our school’s choir performing the curtain raiser.
Jo Black became an overnight sensation when he won most of the awards at the 2018 Ghoema’s, including Best Album of the Year; Male Artist of the Year; Newcomer of the Year; Digital Album of the Year; Digital Song of the Year; Most Popular Song of the Year and Best-selling Artist of the Year.
As recently reported in the media, Jo Black’s health condition deteriorated to such an extent that he had to undergo emergency surgery on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Jo Black’s agency has assured us that the operation was a success and that Jo will be recovering over the next few weeks.
We are delighted to invite you to attend the Jo Black concert on:
Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 6.30pm for 7pm, at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace (doors open at 6pm).
Tickets cost between R120 and R150 per person. Book your seat online (www.soatickets.co.za). Tel: 011-916-1917 or e-mail info@mysoa.co.za for more details.
