Lucky Hendriena wins a car
Ackermans Pharmacy was a hub of activity as lucky winners were drawn in annual ‘Win a Car’ competition.
Anticipation filled the air outside Ackermans Pharmacy in Rietfontien Road, in Primrose, last Saturday.
The 10 finalists in the pharmacy’s annual ‘Win a Car’ competition, which ran from October 1 to December 7, eagerly waited to see if their names would be called as one of the lucky winners.
To enter the competition customers had to spend R150 or more at the pharmacy and place their till slip in the entry box.
Two finalists were drawn each week of the competition, one finalist for the car draw and one finalist for the cash draw, resulting in five finalists in each category for the final draw.

Hendriena Beukes was elated when she was named the winner of the Renault Kwid Climber, which was presented to her by store owners Jan and Johan van Wyk.
While Zakia Mashabela won R20 000 (second prize), Craig Moodaly won R15 000 (third pize) and Mr Johnson won R10 000 (fourth prize)
“This was the 10th ‘Win a Car’ competition Ackermans Pharmacy has held for our loyal customers.
“We hope to be able to keep this up in years to come,” said Karen Engelbrecht on behalf of the pharmacy.
