The Primrose police arrested 28 suspects between March 13 and 20.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, reckless and negligent driving, dealing in liquor without a license, fraud, shoplifting, exposing genitals to a minor, contempt of court and warrant of arrest.
The Primrose SAPS acting station commander, Lt Col Solly Maswanganyi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
