The owner of a local business in Mc Alpine Road in Wychwood called the Primrose police to investigate a recent break-in and theft at the company.

“The complainant alleged that the business had been broken into and several items had been taken,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“Entrance was gained by forcing the door open and machine parts, two motors, a band saw and combination machine, valued at R100 000, had been taken.”

Following an investigation, Primrose police arrested a 19-year-old man on a charge of business break-in and theft.
He was detained at the Primrose Police Station.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
