The Primrose police arrested 28 suspects between July 18 and 24.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included domestic violence, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, attempted theft of copper cable, corruption and defeating the ends of justice, malicious damage to property, dealing in liquor without a license and contempt of court.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
