Enter and win a Three-day Spring Break ticket to Germiston Lake

The annual Spring Break event is filled with plenty of activities for patrons to socialise, play and enjoy with their families and friends while listening to the biggest artists in the South African music industry.

This festival has been running for the past four years, attracting people from all over Ekurhuleni and neighbouring cities, with an attendance rate of more than 20 000 people over the three days.

The festival will take place from September 27 to 29 at Germiston Lake.

Spring Break is hosted by Raplyf Records and was founded by accomplished rapper Senzo ‘Kwesta’ Vilakazi.

The event offers an array of entertainment, such as boat cruises, a theme park for children and a gaming station for all the gamers and tech enthusiasts to indulge in the latest games and gadgets.

The festival also offers a campsite close to the festival where attendees can rent a space for the duration of the event. The camp site offers tents, shower stations, security, three meals per day and charging stations.

The event offers a child-friendly environment, ensuring the entire family can come and enjoy a safe entertainment environment.

The three days have been divided into various musical genres.

Gqom vs amapiano on September 27 with a line-up including DJ Tira, Destruction Boyz, DJ Maphorisa, DJ Sumbody, Kabza da Small, Da Mthuda, Kaygee Da King and BET award-winner Sho Madjozi, to mention a few.

The hip-hop vs house line-up on September 28 includes Heavy K, Kwesta, Cassper Nyovest, Ricky Rick, Senul Musicain, Busiswa, Kid X and Black Motion.

Sounds of Soul on September 29 focuses on Afro-pop and R&B. The line-up includes Mafikizolo, Bucie, Donald, Mlindo the Vocalist, Berita, Encore, Thabsie and Glen Lewis.

Tickets for the event are available at Computicket. Prices are:

• Single-day tickets: R150

• Three-day tickets: R400

• Three-day camping tickets: R1 985

Operating hours for the event are from 11am until 1am every day.
