Fun for all at community market
Copper Canyon Spur provided the perfect backdrop for a fun-filled community market.
Community members were treated to a fun-filled community market at Copper Canyon Spur last Saturday.
The market, the first of many, was a joint initiative by Copper Canyon Spur and local entrepreneurs JP and Natalie van Coppenhagen.

“The initiative aims to give the community a platform to exhibit and sell their products and services free of charge,” said Natalie.
“We hope the market day will bring the community together in a safe family-friendly environment, support local entrepreneurs and help generate some income for those who need it most.”
The day boasted a variety of stalls, interesting and delicious food and fun activities for the children, including face painting, games and a Spur Sing Star Contest.
Guests were kept entertained with music from local musicians Natalie, Narboth Mathole, KeenMarshall, Traci, Wesley Skolwane, Jason and DJ Trenzy.

The team from Thunder MMA also gave an interactive demonstration on the day.
The next market will be held on November 2 from 9am.
“We are hoping to support one of our local charities by collecting non-perishable food and toiletries on the day,” said Natalie.
