Babies born on Christmas and New Year’s Day
Clinix Botshelong-Empilweni Private Hospital in Vosloorus is one of the lucky hospitals in the township to have witnessed the birth of babies on Christmas Day.
Four babies were born at the hospital on Christmas Day and three on New Year’s Day.
The Christmas Day babies are:
• Olubanzi Nobathana (male) born to mother Mantabe Nobathana at 7.31am. They are from Extension Two in Vosloorus.
• Nkosana Thakge (male) was born to mother Sibongile Zitha at 8.47am. They are from Spruitview.
• Langelihle Sibuyi (male) was born to mother Gracious Sibuyi at 7.02pm. They are from Alberton. Sibuyi did not allow Kathorus MAIL to publish a photo of her child.
• Phawolothando Bangiso (female) was born to mother Nokwanele Bangiso at 11.15pm. They are from Credi Section in Katlehong. Phawolothando’s mother also did not give permission to publish the photo.
The New Year’s Day babies are:
• Oyintando Booi (male) was born to mother Nomthandazo Booi at 6.12am.
• Ntokozo Hlatshwayo (male) was born to Zanele Hlatshwayo at 7am.
• Kgomotso Ngoasheng (female) was born to mother Raisibe Ngoasheng at 7.45am.
Kathorus MAIL does not have photos of the babies who were born on New Year’s Day as their parents did not give permission for us to publish them.
