The Primrose police arrested 12 suspects between March 26 and April 1.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.
The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, domestic violence, driving under the influence of alcohol, theft, Disaster Management Act (Covid-19 Act) compliance, statutory rape, tampering with infrastructure, dealing in liquor without a licence and shoplifting.
Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
