Police wait for DNA results before going forward with Bulwana murder case
The family and friends of Nthabiseng Bulwana, who was found murdered near the Sam Ntuli Mall on Valentine's Day, say they are disappointed by the delay in the investigations to resolve her murder.
The Katehong SAPS, on the other hand, have told Kathorus MAIL they are still waiting for the DNA results in order to continue with their investigations.
The murdered woman’s close friends later led police to a man who they claim was last seen with her the previous evening. Bulwana’s semi-naked body was found by a passer-by in the early hours on Valentine’s Day near a communal garden not far from the shopping complex.

Police confirmed she had been stabbed several times and an attempt had been made to set her body alight. A man was later arrested and questioned by the police, but he was released due to a lack of evidence linking him to the woman’s murder.
Yonela Bobotyane, a friend of the murdered woman, said two of Bulwana’s children were now living with their grandparent’s several streets from the home they used to share with their dead mother.
