TenderHearts grateful for community support

The TenderHeart Foundation raised R5 000 for the #BakeADifference campaign run by Cupcakes of Hope for children with cancer.

The TenderHeart Foundation raised R5 000 for the #BakeADifference campaign run by Cupcakes of Hope for children with cancer.

One of the co-founders of the foundation, Lornette Joseph from Lambton, said they are grateful for all those who supported them.

“We appreciate each and everyone who came out to support us by buying cupcakes.

“We also thank Pick n Pay Lambton for baking and icing 200 cupcakes and the Majestic Coffee Shop for selling the cupcakes,” said Joseph.

She said the biggest supporter on the day was Dead Bird Tattoos, which bought cupcakes worth R1 800.

“The community has been amazing. Those who could not come to the market or coffee shop bought online.

“Majestic sold 33 cupcakes and on Saturday at the market, we sold 185. We sold 70 cupcakes online,” said Joseph.
