Ekurhuleni extends validity of driver’s and vehicle licenses to 2021

The validity period was initially planned to expire on December 31 this year and has now been further extended to August 31, 2021.

City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) announced an extension on licences to keep motorists legal.

This is applicable to licences that expired after March 26 to date.

The CoE extended the validity period of learner’s licences, driver’s licence cards, licence discs, professional driving permits and registration of a motor vehicle.

Motorists are encouraged to visit the nearest motor vehicle registration authority and driver’s licensing centres for more information.
