Making Primrose safe
Primrose SAPS said the purpose of the roadblocks was to address the high rate of theft of motor vehicles in the area.
Primrose SAPS and local security companies held two high-density roadblocks on Main and Stanhope roads on February 26. Sgt Style Maome. the spokesperson of Primrose SAPS, said the purpose of the roadblocks was to address the high rate of theft of motor vehicles.
“We appeal to residents to organise with people who are home to open the gate for them as they arrive so they do not have to wait outside their yard. This prevents hijackings,” said Maome.
Moame advised residents to remain calm and remember details of the suspects in case of hijacking. “We thank our local security companies CPG, Spider Tactical and Circinus for helping with the roadblock and keeping our community safe.”
