Man (24) arrested for alleged murder
The suspect is expected to appear again in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate's Court on April 20 for bail application.

Police arrested a 25-year-old male suspect for murder after he allegedly stabbed a 39-year-old to death in Boipatong, on April 2.
The police investigation revealed the deceased and the suspect were drinking together at Seipati Tavern.
According to the Sedibeng district media liaison officer, Sgt Thembeka Maxambela, the two engaged in an argument before the suspect produced a sharp object and stabbed the deceased once on the chest and ran away.
“Investigations by Det Sgt Thabo Motaung and information from the community led to the arrest of the suspect in his rental room in Batswana Street, not far from the crime scene,” said Maxambela.
The police are still conducting further investigations to find the motive of the argument and murder.
“The suspect appeared in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s Court on April 6 and returned to police custody for formal bail application.
“He appeared again on April 13, where he was denied bail pending verification of his original residential address,” said Maxambela.
The suspect appeared in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s Court on April 20 for bail application.
