A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of drugs.

According to Elsburg SAPS spokesperson Dapheny Phooko, Sgt Erin Palmer was doing crime prevention duties on August 15 in Elsburg when the arrest was made.

“She was patrolling Sector One and noticed a white Nissan Almera with a young man in the passenger seat.

“She stopped the vehicle and searched it. One was found in possession of one small clear plastic bag containing crystal meth.”
