Local school hosts athletics meeting since Covid-19

The event allowed full participation of all 374 learners as three houses competed. They were the Tigers, Lions and Cheetahs.

Rondebult Independent Primary School hosted its first annual athletic meeting post-Covid-19, on September 10, at Boksburg Stadium.

The event allowed full participation of all 374 learners as three houses competed. They were the Tigers, Lions and Cheetahs.

Tigers were the overall winners beating Lions with eight points.

Learners who attained first positions in their respective categories were:

Foundation phase: Aiden Mahuni (boys).

Foundation phase: Elsie Makonza (girs).

Intersen phase: Taurai Lekera (boys).

Intersen phase: Sharon Mashayamombe (girls).
