Burst pipe disrupts water supply in Germiston and surrounding areas

Residents in several parts of Germiston are experiencing low water pressure or no water supply this morning, July 30, following a burst pipe.

According to a statement released by the City of Ekurhuleni, the affected areas include Germiston CBD, Dukathole, Germiston Ext 9, Elsburg, Delville, Lambton, Parkhill Gardens and Tedstoneville.

The statement read that water supply is expected to be restored by 15:00.

Roving water tankers have been deployed to provide relief to affected communities while repair work is under way.
