Emperors Palace will shake away the dreary winter blues to make way for some of South Africa’s funniest comedians, when Trevor Gumbi and Friends take to the stage in the Theatre of Marcellus, this Saturday.
The controversial, no holds barred comedian has gathered his pick of jester friends for a seven city tour of South Africa, commencing at Emperors Palace.
For one night only, fans can expect to be entertained by some of South Africa’s most sought after comics in the new and improved Theatre of Marcellus.
A SAFTA nominated actor, the hilarious Gumbi is currently performing in a local drama series and has been directing and writing for local television shows successfully, over the years.
However, comedy has always remained his true love.
“I’m excited to be touring, I love meeting new people and interacting with my fans, it’s a humbling experience,” he said.
“Being able to do this show is dream I’ve had for a while, so seeing it come to fruition is a blessing.”
