Woman arrested for allegedly attacking a male adult
A case of assault GBH was opened at Alberton SAPS after a male adult suffered injuries and was taken to hospital after being allegedly attacked by a female.
Alberton SAPS opened a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) on August 2.
This is after a male adult suffered injuries and was taken to hospital after being allegedly attacked by a female on August 1.
The complainant was interviewed and informed the officers of what transpired.
According to Capt Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS, the complainant also provided information about the suspect.
“During the investigation, the suspect was arrested and taken to Alberton SAPS for detention and will soon appear in court. Alberton SAPS stresses that gender-based crimes will not be tolerated,” he said.
