Protesters outside court call for justice

Placards lifted high above their heads, protesters called for justice to be served in Nigel Magistrate Court today.

Today’s bail application of the three men accused of killing deputy principal Herbert Nyembe at a primary school in Duduza last month, received widespread attention.

Representatives from the ANC woman’s league and the South African Democratic Teachers Union protested outside Nigel Magistrate’s Court, saying the suspects should not be released on bail.
