Poor visibility wreaks havoc on the roads
Poor visibility due to fog resulted in an accident this morning.
A truck with container overturned on the R549 Vaaldam Road at around 06:00.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
In another incident two vehicles collided on the corner of Vlok and Breë Street in Rensburg.
The accident occurred around 08:10 and no injuries were reported.
The drivers of both vehicles allege that the other vehicle ignored the stop sign which resulted in the collision.
