Help Ratanda SAPS with murder case

Ratanda SAPS requests members of the public who might have information about the crime to come forward.

Ratanda SAPS is investigating a case of murder after a Malawian national was shot and killed last Saturday.

It is alleged the victim, who is believed to be about 35 years old, and his friend was walking along Mbokazi Street near Exit 26 around 7.30pm when a white Toyota Tazz drove past them and stopped a few metres away.

The driver, an unknown male who spoke isiZulu, started swearing and shouting at the two men. The driver proceeded to shoot at the men through the open car window, hitting the victim.

According to the surviving man, there were about three to five occupants in the car.

Ratanda SAPS requests members of the public who might have information about the crime to come forward.
