Police arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of dealing in dagga on Tuesday.
The arrest was made at the corner of AG Visser and Bindon streets in the Rensburg around 9.30pm.
WO Lukas Wolmarans and Const Jean Pierre Lewis from the crime-prevention team were conducting patrols when they spotted four men walking along the street.
Upon conducting a body and luggage search, police found one of the men had 25 ziplock bags of dagga in his possession in a small black bag.
On further investigation, the police found five ziplock bags containing drugs.
The man was immediately arrested and will appear in the Heidelberg Magistrate’s Court soon.
