Body found in Alrapark

Nigel SAPS members received a report that a man was lying on his back on the side of the road

NIGEL – The body of a 30-year-old man was found on Sunday 4 at the corner of Lemon and Mango avenues in Alrapark.

Nigel SAPS members received a report that a man was lying face-up on the side of the road.

An investigation and examination of the body were done to determine what might have been the cause of his death as no visible injuries were detected and no sign of bleeding or trauma was shown.

SAPS managed to trace the deceased’s family and found his sister who positively identified the man as her younger brother.

The sister further informed the police that she last saw her brother on Saturday around 9pm and he never told her where he was going. He never returned home.

It was also established that the deceased had no medical history of any complications or chronic illnesses, except that he used to take drugs.

Nigel SAPS will be investigating the case further.

Anyone with information regarding the case is urged by the police to come forward.
