Two members of Nigel SAPS arrested a 51-year-old woman for dealing in drugs on May 12.
The officers were patrolling Alrapark Extension Two when they noticed a group of youngsters gathered at the gate of one of the houses.
Upon noticing the police, the youngsters fled.
At the house, the members found a woman who identified herself as the owner.
She gave permission for the home to be searched and handed over three plastic bags containing Mandrax tablets and cash.
The 239 tablets in her possession are valued at R12 500.
The woman was arrested and detained at Nigel SAPS.
Police station management applauded the members for the arrest.
