Female soldier found dead in room
According to police, the cause of her death is not known and the case is being investigated.
HEIDELBERG – The body of a member of the SANDF was found in her room at the Army Gymnasium on the morning of January 10.
The deceased was identified as Maj Moon Moon Glaystarious Mmola.
Mmola was a permanent member of the Army Gymnasium. Her body was found on her bed after her family called the base out of concern the night before she was found.
Her family was apparently worried about the deceased after they had been unable to contact her for several days.
Members of the army base went to her room at 09:00, where they found the door locked.
After receiving no response, the door was forced open and her body was found in an advanced stage of decomposition.
