A house robbery on 29 January saw a man shot four times in his legs.
It is alleged that the victim (50) was sitting in his dining room when four criminals forced their way into the house.
The robbers demanded cash from the victim and when he told them that he didn’t have money, the robbers assaulted him and shot him four times in both legs.
The robbers then ransacked the house, searching for cash.
They took his two cellphones along with two beers.
Before leaving, one of the robbers apologised to the victim, explaining that they went into the wrong house.
The robbers had meant to rob the victim’s neighbour.
The robbers fled the scene on foot.
The victim is currently recovering in a local hospital.
