Robbers target store at Victorian Centre

The staff members along with the customer were forced into the store room where they stayed until the store was quiet.

About eight robbers targeted the Exact clothing store at the Victorian Centre on April 27.

Around 10:00, the robbers, four of whom carried firearms, entered the store.

Three staff members and a customer were forced into the storeroom, where they were held at gunpoint during the robbery.

The store was robbed of various items and cash.

Various cellphones and watches were taken off the shelves as well as from the safe.

The robbers also took money from the cash registers before fleeing the scene.

The staff members and client got out of the storeroom when they heard the store was quiet.

Items to the value of R300 000 was taken from the store.

No one was injured during the crime.

The robbers also took items from the store’s safe.
