A police officer conducting regular patrols in the region of the R550 and R102 near Rooikraal Farm on May 10 found a body on the roadside.
Upon further investigation, Const Nelson Thebethe found the body was that of a man aged about 30. The unidentified deceased had a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Police are investigating the possibility that the deceased was killed at a different location and dumped near the farm. A case of murder is under investigation.
