Peace Brothers draws against Boksburg Pirates
Local team still remains on top of the log.
Peace Brothers FC drew in their latest match against Boksburg Pirates FC on May 8.
The match was played in Reigerpark, Boksburg.
“The match was very tense,” said team manager Seja Mahladisa. “Both teams are on the first and second spots of the log and no one wanted to lose the match.”
The team’s coach, Beipa Sebeko encouraged the team to play according to their training and not according to their opposing team.
Although the Boksburg team managed to score a goal during the first half, the Peace Brothers managed to level the score during the second half.
Peace Brothers player Bisa Mkwanasi, who came on as a substitute, scored the goal.
The team from Nigel remains on the top of the log.
