On July 24, a shooting took place along Jacobs and Du Preez streets in Heidelberg Central.
According to reports, two people were involved in the incident which took place at about 20:45.
It is believed a person discharged and shot at a driver of a vehicle and the second party returned fire.
Members of the Heidelberg SAPS and AfriForum CPF, as well as other law enforcement role players, were on the scene shortly after the incident.
When the SAPS arrived, two vehicles were found in the middle of the road.
Both drivers sustained bullet wounds and were admitted to the hospital.
Fourteen bullet cartridges were found on the scene.
