Law enforcement collaboration leads to multiple arrests

Law enforcement clamps down on criminals.

On the weekend of October 17 to 23, Sedibeng law enforcement agencies worked together to fight crime.

A total number of 372 suspects were arrested across the district.

The arrests were achieved by different police stations. The offences included illegal mining, drunk driving, sexual assault, common assault, gender-based violence, theft, possession of narcotics, selling liquor without a licence, illegal immigrants, murder, possession of stolen motor vehicles, malicious damage to property, rape, public indecency and domestic violence.

The suspects are expected to appear before the magistrate’s courts.
