Two arrested for dealing in drugs

Drug dealers arrested in Voortrekker Street.

On October 26, Heidelberg Crime Prevention A Relief under the command of Sergeant Vusimuzi Zondo conducted normal crime prevention duties in Voortrekker Street, Heidelberg.

At the taxi rank area, they noticed a drug deal in progress.

The SAPS members were quick to respond and arrested two men. The suspects were in possession of drugs – 30 loops of heroin valued at around R900, 26 cocaine rocks valued at R800 and cash in their possession.
All the items were confiscated and booked in as evidence.

Charges against them will include dealing drugs and possession of illegal drugs.

Both suspects are detained at the Heidelberg SAPS and appeared in court on October 27.
