The Ratanda Local Safety Forum is ensuring that criminals are brought to book.
The safety forum, together with security companies and the local SAPS arrested three suspects that could be linked to possible break-ins in Rensburg and Ratanda.
The suspects are being investigated for residential and business burglaries and other crimes.
Break-ins are seen as a priority crime by the SAPS.
Information and tip-offs can be reported to the hotline on 076 318 5038.
The police requested residents to look out for another three burglars in the Rensburg area.
One of their modus operandi is spraying a substance that sedates people and pets into the house through an open window. They then enter the house and steal whatever they can lay their hands on.
The festive season is a time when more break-ins usually start occurring.
If you see anyone loitering outside your premises for long periods, contact law enforcement as soon as possible.
Police have appealed to residents to report any criminal activities to their nearest SAPS.
