The Duduza SAPS are concerned about the increase in serious and violent crimes in the area, including increased house and business robberies.
According to Sergeant Harry Manaka, the Duduza SAPS spokesperson, the police are on high alert and are working hard to put an end to the robberies.
“While police are working around the clock to trace and arrest criminals, we also urge community members to be extra vigilant and take precautions when they are in their homes,” Manaka said.
“This includes observing and reporting suspicious behaviour by unknown people in the areas.”
Community members are also encouraged to increase security by locking doors and gates when inside their homes.
