EMPD Bronberg Precinct and Community Liaison Unit officers recovered a hijacked truck in the Benoni area on November 7.
Acting on a tip-off from a reliable source, officers made a follow-up about a truck hijacked in the Heidelberg area earlier.
They found the white UD Quon truck abandoned on New Modder Road with a trailer missing.
EMPD officers learnt that during the robbery, the truck driver was abducted and dropped off in the Dawn Park area.
Not long after, they found the missing trailer at an industrial site in Boksburg.
After summoning the necessary stakeholders, the recovered truck was taken to a police yard in Aeroton for safekeeping.
