Body found in veld outside Heidelberg

Ratanda SAPS is requesting assistance in identifying an unknown man whose body was found on August 12.

Ratanda SAPS were notified of a body in the veld between Erwat Wastewater treatment plant and Elpee’s Steelworks near Boschfontein.

Emergency Medical Services members who attended to the scene declared the man dead.

The deceased was wearing a grey jersey, blue jeans and black boots.

There were no visible injuries.

“If anyone knows the deceased or of someone missing fitting the description or knows what happened, contact Ratanda SAPS,” said Sergeant Moss Maluleke, Ratanda SAPS corporate communications officer.
