The NPO, Meals on Wheels, is a multi-faceted organisation that aims to help the poverty-stricken communities of South Africa.
The organisation provides struggling families with nutritious meals with the aim of a hunger-free country.
The local Meals on Wheels Heidelberg branch is located just off the R42 on the Sedaven Estate.
With the help and support of the community the Heidelberg branch has made it their motto to have a positive impact and to work together to change the world.
Within the Heidelberg region, a total of almost 50 000 meals were made and distributed throughout the surrounding areas over the last year.
