Remember the following for the Ward 8 by-election

The Ward 8 by-election will be held on May 24.

Ward 8 covers Rensburg, Shalimar Ridge, Heidelberg Industrial and Heidelberg Agricultural Holdings (Vaaldam smallholdings).

The following also falls within the Ward 8 area:

• All houses between Benz- and Schoeman street (which includes End-, Van Zyl-, Arnoldi-, Liebenberg-, Viljoen-, Rissik-, Marshall-, Schoeman and Smit Street).
• All houses between the R23 (Balfour Road) and Voortrekker Street, from Smit Street all the way down to the low water bridge.

Voting stations will be at Shalimar Ridge Primary and Laerskool AG Visser.

Stations will be open from 07:00 to 21:00 on the day.

Remember your green barcoded ID book, smart ID card or temporary ID’s when you are going to vote.
