The Heidelberg SAPS visited Mountain View Secondary School in Bergsig on October 11.
The visit aimed to promote school safety and show the learners how to conduct themselves inside and outside the school premises.
The Siyabangena patrollers and the Heidelberg SAPS’ Social and Crime Prevention officer, Constable Doris Nkosi, joined the Heidelberg SAPS.
They searched the learners for illegal substances they might have brought onto the school grounds and sensitised them to substance and alcohol abuse, cyberbullying, GBV-related issues and cleanliness.
