Have you seen Marius?

Nigel station commander Lieutenant Colonel Louise Droskie issued a missing persons search on February 9.

Marius Lochner was reported missing at Nigel SAPS on February 4. At the time it was reported that he was seen walking on February 3 into a nearby veld. He did not return home and his family reported him missing.

An investigating officer was appointed to the case and all relevant stakeholders including the CPF gathered to search the veld and surrounding area where he was allegedly last seen. Government and private mortuaries, as well as hospitals, were visited.

Nigel SAPS with help from the CPF conducted a search for Marius Lochner who was reported missing.

The search continued again on February 5 without any luck. On February 9, different SAPS units and the community gathered again and went to search for Lochner but he has still not been found.

On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue shirt, dark coloured trousers and was carrying a black backpack. He was wearing spectacles.

Anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of Lochner is urged to contact Sergeant Johan Lourens on 011 739 2100 or 079 818 3183.

On February 9, different SAPS units and the community gathered to search for Marius Lochner who has still not been found.
