Celebrating 10 years of helping the community
Decade of helping others commemorated with a fashion show.
Ravishing Rags celebrated its 10th anniversary in style.
The anniversary was a fashion and music show and lunch.
They hosted the event at Shack o’Licious Koffiekan in Nigel on February 10.
During the fashion show, various models displayed clothing and styles, to the delight of the guests.
Linda Oosthuizen entertained the guests with music and golden oldie musical hits.
Elize Petrie, the owner of Ravishing Rags, welcomed the guests and said she could not believe the time had flown so quickly.
“I am thankful for every person that has contributed to its success.”
Ravishing Rags was initially founded to help the community with clothing for their special day. It can be a wedding, matric farewell or special event.
“Not everyone can afford to purchase a wedding gown or matric farewell dress. We want to help the community in the struggling times we live in. Each person deserves to look good on their special day and if we can help, it will be worth it,” said Petrie.
