Heidelberg SAPS tackles crime

Heidelberg SAPS is committed to the youth.

Heidelberg SAPS conducted various joint operations recently.

The various role players who contributed to the successes included Heidelberg SAPS, SAPS Social Crime Prevention, Lesedi Traffic Department and patrollers.

The team made ten arrests for possession of drugs and one for dealing with narcotics during the operations. The team also issued fines valued at R21 800.

On June 11 and 14, Heidelberg SAPS, accompanied by Social Crime Prevention, GBV coordinators, Lesedi Traffic Department and various other departments, held a school talk at Heidelberg City Hall.

The topics they covered were GBV-related cases, sex crimes, protection orders, school safety, substance abuse, bullying, and youth empowerment.

Heidelberg SAPS is committed to the youth and is available to visit schools.
