Mark Motaung, Siyabonga Magagula, Nadir Sallie and Ishmael Arnold are gearing up for the South Africa Full Contact Karate Championships, with a chance to earn selection for the World Karate Championships in Japan at stake.

Four Alra Park Enshin Karate dojo athletes, Mark Motaung, Siyabonga Magagula, Nadir Sallie and Ismaeel Arnold, are preparing to test their skills against the country’s best at the South African Full Contact Karate Championships in Durban on October 24.

The quartet will represent Gauteng at the national tournament after months of hard work and preparation, hoping to translate their commitment into strong performances on the competition floor.

Their participation marks an important opportunity to showcase their abilities in full-contact karate while competing for national honours.

The stakes are high, as the championships will also give successful competitors a chance to earn selection to represent South Africa at the World Karate Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, on November 15.

Enshin Karate South Africa has wished the athletes well, praising their dedication and efforts in preparing for the tournament.

Motaung, Magagula, Sallie and Arnold will now be focused on delivering their best performances in Durban, with the ultimate goal of securing a place on the international stage.
