The Heidelberg Bowling Club held some inter-club tournaments over the past few weeks.
On July 10, Marietjie de Beer played against Elmarie Eygelaar in the ladies’ singles final.
The winner after the final roll of the ball was De Beer.

July 17 saw the Club Championship men’s singles Final contested between John Drysdale and Mike van Nierop, with Drysdale winning.
In addition, two Heidelberg bowling juniors, Johann and Violet Ann Strauss, were selected to participate in the Junior Presidents Bowls Tournament on August 3 and 4 at the Benoni Bowling Club.
